Bintaro, South Tangerang 02/05/2024. The Humanis Festival is a collaboration between the Faculty of Humanities and Business, combining four study programs: Accounting, Management, Psychology, and Communication Science. With more than 100 high school students accompanied by representatives from their respective schools, the purpose of this event is to introduce the study programs available in the Faculty of Humanities and Business at UPJ.

"Through the Humanis Festival, it is hoped that participants can experience the full spectrum of activities and innovations at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ), so that they can fully engage and gain a deep impression of the dynamic academic environment," said Clara Evi Citraningtyas, Dra., M.A., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Business & Lecturer in Communication Science.

The event, held in the Lobby of Building B at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, was opened by the chairperson and dean of UPJ with four strikes of the gong. The event was divided into four sessions according to the activities of each study program. The psychology study program organized a workshop on "Learning Style Tests" and a quiz competition, the Accounting study program held an Accounting competition. The Management study program held a Talkshow on the topic of "Social Branding Plan," and the Communication Science study program held a workshop on the topic of "Content Making: Level Up your Public Speaking."

The Chairperson of the Humanis Festival 2024, Muhammad Rafli, explained the purpose of this Humanis event, hoping to provide an experience of seeing campus activities and hoping that participants can be inspired in planning their further education at their Dream campus. "How prospective students can be interested and their output can join one of the four study programs. But, in essence, this collaboration is something new because the cooperation between the four study programs makes this event run smoothly," said Muhammad Rafli, Chairperson of the Humanis Festival 2024. In addition, Muhammad Rafli hopes that the Humanis Festival will become an attractive and memorable campus event for the attending students.

In addition to talk shows and sharing experiences as students, the Humanis Festival also provided booths for the four study programs to obtain information from each program while playing games that had been prepared. The students seemed very enthusiastic to ask questions and listen to stories and experiences from UPJ students. Some students shared their stories about the benefits after attending the Humanis Festival. They became more confident in considering which major to choose when they go to college, as well as gaining new insights into the world of higher education.

"Besides the school programs, we were interested in coming to the Humanis Festival, curious about what college life is like. We now know that there are many student activities, so we have more considerations about which major to choose. Our interests are clearer now," said Margaret and Tisha, two participants of the Humanis Festival.
