UPJ and UK Petra Collaborate on Learning Technology Development

Pembangunan Jaya University (UPJ) expands collaboration with Petra Christian University (UK Petra) in providing quality and affordable learning at the higher education level.

Located in Building W, UK Petra Campus, Surabaya, on Monday, 30 October 2023, the process of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was carried out between UPJ, represented by Dr. Ir. Agustinus Setiawan as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, with and UK Petra represented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Djwantoro Hardjito, M.Eng., Chancellor of UK Petra Surabaya.

In order to provide quality higher education services, UPJ and UK Petra have agreed to collaborate in developing Learning Technology. The learning technology developed uses the gamification method with immersive technology, which is currently known as Petraverse. Through this technology, students have the opportunity to build digital communities through small groups and win various challenges in various forms of games developed from lecturer teaching material modules.

With the opportunity to sign this MoU, three collaborations were established between UPJ and UK Petra, namely the development of joint learning modules, development of collaboration in the field of research and community service.
