Forging Strategic Collaboration, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) and Prasmul Eli Sign Tri Dharma MoU.

Bintaro, Tangerang Selatan, March 14, 2024 – Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) and Career Companion by Prasmul Eli have officially collaborated by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding Tri Dharma activities focused on career readiness. Prasetiya Mulya Executive Learning Institute is a part of Prasetiya Mulya Business School that focuses on business and management solutions.

The event, held at the Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) campus, was graced by the presence of Elisabeth Rukmini, Ph.D., Vice Rector for Operational and Cooperation Affairs; Dr. Ronald M.P. Silalahi, S.S., M.Hum., Head of BKAL; Desi Dwi Kristanto, S.Ds., M.Ds, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Design; Dr. Tri Nugraha Adi Kesuma, Head of the Civil Engineering Study Program. Furthermore, this MoU was also signed between UPJ's Student and Alumni Bureau (BKAL) and Career Companion by Prasmul Eli during the same event.

The collaboration aims to facilitate Tri Dharma activities focusing on crucial aspects of career readiness for students and job placement or internships in related sectors.

In addition to the MoU signing with Prasmul Eli, the event proceeded with a career seminar featuring Dr. Ronald M.P. Silalahi, S.S., M.Hum., and Medi Prasetyo, S.Pi., S.M., M.M., CHRP as speakers. This seminar was attended by 180 Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) students. Participants of this MoU signing and Seminar event are expected to prepare skills and competencies in the field of work, so they are ready to pursue careers in the job market.

Medi Prasetyo, S.Pi., S.M., M.M., CHRP emphasized the importance of starting career development early, ideally before students begin their professional journey. Dr. Ronald M.P. Silalahi, S.S., M.Hum reiterated this sentiment, highlighting Universitas Pembangunan Jaya's commitment to advancing career growth through structured and systematic programs. One of these initiatives is the Career Companion Program, designed to provide comprehensive support and guidance to students as they navigate the complexities of the job market and pursue their professional aspirations. Through proactive steps like these, students are encouraged to make informed decisions and design satisfying career paths from the outset.
