UniSZA Strengthens Cooperation with UPJ, Indonesia

Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ), Indonesia at the Chancellery Building, UniSZA Gong Badak Campus today.

The exchange of documents between the two parties was represented by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Khalid Awang, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics & Computing UniSZA as a representative of the UniSZA Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Ida Nurhaida, Project Leader for the Special Research Grant Scheme - International Collaboration (SRGS-IC) as a representative of the UPJ Rector.

This cooperation will involve the exchange of ideas and facilities of both parties, including engagement and visits by academics to continue research, curriculum development, participation in seminars, conferences, workshops, and other academic-related activities.

For UniSZA, the event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Syarilla Iryani binti Ahmad Saany, Director Centre of Corporate Communication and Relations Management, Dr. Wan Suryani Wan Awang, Deputy Dean of Academic and Undergraduate, Dr. Wan Mohd Rizhan Wan Idris, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni, Associate Professor Dr. Mohamad Afendee bin Mohamed, Deputy Dean of Research and Development, Dr. Azim Zaliha binti Abd Aziz as Project Leader for the Special Research Grant Scheme - International Collaboration (SRGS-IC), program chairs, and management of the Faculty of Informatics & Computing.

Also attending the event online from UPJ were Dr. Eddy Yusuf, Operational and Cooperation Vice Rector, Agustinus Agus Setiawan, Academic and Student Affairs Vice Rector, Dr. Yudi Samyudia, President's Staff Advisor of Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, and Dr. Ir. Lukas Beladi Sihombing, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Design.
