Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) hosted an introduction session on video-based learning methods facilitated by Edpuzzle on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Theater on the 4th floor of Building A, UPJ. This session aimed to improve the skills of educators in utilizing Edpuzzle for an interactive learning experience.

Edpuzzle is an easy-to-use platform where educators can turn any video into a learning material. With just one click, lecturers can find video lessons created by other educators.

"With the help of technology, interactive learning methods are easy to implement," said Safitri Jaya, Head of the Teaching and Learning Unit - LSE.

In the future, in July 2024, UPJ will hold on-site training sessions for all lecturers to further develop their skills in creating video-based learning content. This training is part of the faculty development program, focusing on enhancing understanding to build effective teaching and interactive learning.

With the strategic collaboration with Edpuzzle, UPJ lecturers are expected to fully utilize this opportunity, especially in producing video-based learning materials. Further information will be provided during the training sessions scheduled for July 2024.

The videos produced during the training will be uploaded to Collabor as supplementary learning materials for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
