Empowering Future Business Leaders: Internal Technical Guidance P2MW Volume I Igniting Entrepreneurial Spirit at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya

Bintaro, South Tangerang, 24/05/2024 - The Student Affairs and Alumni Bureau of Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) organized the Internal Technical Guidance Volume I for the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) in 2024. The event, held at Building B, aims to equip students with basic knowledge and skills to start a business.

In this technical guidance session, students received materials on starting a business, explanations of the P2MW program plan, and technical explanations of P2MW reporting. The material on starting a business was presented by the Head of the Jaya Center for Advanced Learning (JCAL), Mohamad Trio Febriyanto, S.E., M.M., Ph.D.

He hopes that students can immediately start the planned business according to the proposal accepted by the Higher Education Service Institution (Belmawa).

"This technical guidance is very important to provide a strong foundation for students to start their businesses. We hope they can immediately implement what they have learned to run a business according to the approved proposal," said Trio.

This technical guidance is also part of the university's support for students who have successfully received P2MW funding grants. Seven groups receiving support showed high enthusiasm during the guidance session.

One participant, Adrian Eldad, expressed, "This guidance is very beneficial. We now understand the steps to take to start a business and how to report our business progress correctly."

This Internal Technical Guidance Volume I is the first stage of four planned stages as a commitment of Universitas Pembangunan Jaya to support the development of student entrepreneurship. With this support, it is hoped that students can develop their businesses well and make a positive contribution to the economy.

"With continuous support, we want to ensure that students not only start businesses but also manage and develop them well," added Fauzan Joko S.Kom as the head of the BKAL department and the P2MW operator at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya.

This event is expected to inspire and motivate other students to engage in entrepreneurial activities and utilize opportunities available on campus to develop their potential and businesses.
