Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) Launches the Bridge: Jaya Acceleration Program to Facilitate Graduates in Finding Employment

Bintaro, South Tangerang, 19/07/2024 – Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ), as one of the higher education institutions in South Tangerang, is committed to facilitating its graduates to work in various sectors after completing their education. The awareness of the importance of connecting the world of education with the world of work has driven UPJ to optimize the network of Jaya Business Units (UUJ) through the Bridge: Jaya Acceleration Program. 

The Bridge: Jaya Acceleration Program aims to ease access for UPJ graduates in securing jobs and building careers in companies under the UUJ umbrella. Since its launch in mid-February 2024, this program has successfully placed 14 graduates from the 2024 Yudisium period in various Jaya Business Units, such as Jaya Real Property, Tbk, PT. Arkonin, Jaya Teknik Indonesia, PT Jaya Trade Indonesia, and Universitas Pembangunan Jaya. 

This program offers various benefits for its participants, including: 

• Access to the recruitment process in UUJ companies. 
• Training and personal development to prepare for the working world. 
• Mentoring from experienced professionals in their fields. 

UPJ Rector, Ir. Yudi Samyudia, Ph.D., explained that the Bridge: Jaya Acceleration Program is a tangible manifestation of UPJ's commitment to connecting the world of education with the world of work. 

“Through this program, we want to provide opportunities for UPJ graduates to work and develop themselves in renowned companies under the UUJ umbrella. We believe that this program will benefit UPJ graduates, UUJ, and the Indonesian nation,” he said. 

UPJ is committed to continuously developing programs that benefit its students and graduates. The Bridge: Jaya Acceleration Program is one of UPJ efforts to enhance the quality of education and make a real contribution to the Indonesian nation. 

One of the participants in the Bridge: Jaya Acceleration Program, Khailafhi Diafsyah, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity provided by UPJ through the Jaya Career Center. 

“The Bridge Program has greatly helped me in securing a job in the Jaya Group. The Jaya Career Center plays a crucial role as a bridge connecting alumni with various Jaya Business Units. I hope this program continues to grow and provide even greater benefits to all alumni,” he said. 

The Bridge: Jaya Acceleration Program is expected to strengthen the connection between education and the workplace. Through this program, UPJ graduates are expected to find jobs that match their competencies and interests more easily.
