Yudi Samyudia, Ph.D; and Country Managing Director of Everynet Indonesia, Michael Abimanyu, M.M. Part of the UPJ Conference Series on Higher Education, the event was attended by higher education academics, school teachers, UPJ students, and prospective students. It was sponsored by Wiley Education Services, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, and PT Jakarta Tollroad Development.
Professor Amir emphasised that the success of internationalising higher education greatly depends on institutional adaptation to external environments, clear goals, and appropriate strategies. "The scale, scope, and speed of internationalisation must be adjusted to the capabilities and conditions of each institution," he stated.
Echoing Professor Amir, UPJ Rector Ir. Yudi Samyudia elaborated on UPJ's efforts to implement digital-based learning as an initial step towards internationalisation. "With digitalisation, we can access high-quality learning resources and promote cross-disciplinary collaboration. We have creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership (CI-EL) in higher education institutions. This aligns with UPJ's vision to produce graduates who are creative, innovative, and ready to face global challenges," he explained.
Meanwhile, Michael Abimanyu highlighted the importance of preparing the younger generation for the digital era and smart cities. "Higher education must produce graduates who not only have strong academic competencies but also high adaptability to technological changes," he asserted.
The seminar successfully attracted academics, education practitioners, and students to discuss and share knowledge on current issues in higher education. Through this seminar, UPJ is committed to continuously improving the quality of education and preparing its graduates to become future leaders capable of competing globally.
